Predictive Modeler Needed to Forecast Career Paths by Resume Analytics

Summary:
A visitor to BigShotorNot.com – a new website – will either upload their resume or post a link to their LinkedIn profile. Then, using predictive analytics, with the algorithms having learned from prior resumes, a career path will be projected over the next 5, 10 or 20 years.

For example, if someone worked as an Underwriter’s Assistant for 2 years, as an Underwriter for 5 years, and then as the head of an Underwriting unit for 3 years, and wants to know what the next 10 years might look like algorithmically, the program might project that person as the head of a department for 5 years, and then as a Chief Underwriting Officer for 5 years.

That Underwriter should also be given the option to enter a fictitious job or degree for the next several years, so that they may run the algorithm again to see what differences those might make to their future career path.

Preferred expertise/background that I am seeking:
-At least 3 years of predictive analytics experience
-Ability to work on your own with little guidance
-Inventiveness, curiosity, strong work ethic, speed

Expertise that is not required, but helpful:
-API programming experience

The Plan:
BigShotorNot might need to be developed in stages by different people.

Stage 1 is taking thousands of resumes (LinkedIn profiles, likely), and learning from those which variables are most important to project a career path.

Stage 2 is programming the algorithm for use on a website. That website might use resumes exclusively from LinkedIn.

Stage 3 is website design and launch.

Stages 1 and 2 might be the same person, but I’m expecting that they won’t be the same person.
