Crowdsourced Mergers and Acquisitions Recommendation Website at http://WhoShouldMerge.com
Summary:
Visitors to WhoShouldMerge.com – a new website – recommend companies that should merge or be acquired, along with a brief, Tweetable blurb on the reason(s).
Visitors to the site can cycle through companies within various industries and locations, and drag and drop possible matches.
These crowdsourced company matches will then be ranked.
While free access to some of the voting will be provided, a paid subscription service will also be offered. That paid service will provide automatically-generated, advanced metrics about the voting and potential synergies/cost savings, including overlaps of employees by LinkedIn titles, duplicate offices, and complementary products & services.
The paid service should be of interest to institutional investors, investment banks and potential acquirers.
