There will be two initial projects:
1) seasonal typhoon forecasting and real time typhoon tracking and mapping through ImpactOnDemand, Aon Benfield’s exposure management tool;
2) developing a historical typhoon database for China to establish a consistent view of typhoon hazard and loss potential
The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority and European Commission will form working groups to iron out the myriad problems with Solvency II.
LeapFrog Investments, a private equity fund, declared that it has invested $14 million in Apollo Investment Ltd (AIL), an East African insurance group.
