During the prior 8 years, he was a property and casualty actuary with two global insurance companies, as well as a leading international consulting firm. Responsibilities included commercial lines and specialty lines pricing/reserving, alternative risk solutions, latent risk reserving, financial modeling and supervisory duties.
Claude earned his bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics, with a concentration in economics, in 1990 from Johns Hopkins University, and was designated an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society in 1995. He is also an associate member of the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong.
Outside of the office, Claude coaches baseball, soccer and basketball. His book, Roundtripper, was profiled in the Casualty Actuarial Society’s Actuarial Review. He believes next year is finally the year the Philadelphia Eagles will win the Super Bowl.
